Operational Risk Analyst

As an Operational Risk Analyst, will work closely with ORM Head/CRO to drive across the Group the operational risk agenda and supporting the achievement of strategic goals. 

Key responsibilities: 

•      Building a professional relationships with employees across the Group to help drive the Operational Risk Framework and the usage of the Operational Risk Incident Reporting Tool across the Group; 

•      Keep updated the Operational Risk Procedure Manual to ensure that it reflects the latest changes within the unit process/procedure; 

•      Assisting the ORM Head in order to support the business unit leaders to identify, assess and quantify inherent material operational risks, consider alternative risk mitigation to result in acceptable level of residual risk and reduce occurrence of such risk;

•      Proactive monitoring and analysing of operational incidents reported and recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in the future;

•      Assist with developing and monitoring trends in key risk indicators (KRIs) reported to ORM for measuring, monitoring and reporting weaknesses identified through Risk Control Self- Assessments (RCSAs);

•      Interface directly with the Risk and Process Owners to document and map all their business processes;

•      Assisting the ORM Head in preparing reports for the Operational Risk Management Committee;

•      Assisting in testing and suggest system change requirements to continuous by meet ORM and end-users requirements; 

•      Providing support and participate in other tasks undertaken by the Operation Risk section whilst, ensuring that the team’s deliverables are produced to a high standard;

•      Deputise for the Operational Risk Manager in their absence; 


•      Possess a professional qualification or higher;

•      Previous experience and knowledge within Financial Service industry, preferably background in Risk management or Internal audit;

•      Process mapping experience preferred , software as well as practical experience

•      Ability to work in a team and on own initiative within a highly dynamic international environment; 

•      Possess strong analytical and decision-making skills;

•      Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
